About (SC)2

Mission

The SuperComputing Science Consortium, (SC)2, is a partnership of the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC), Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh, West Virginia University (WVU), the West Virginia Governor's Office of Technology (WVGOT), the Institute for Scientific Research (ISR), Duquesne University, Waynesburg College, and the NASA Independent Verification & Validation facility. The partnership improves the ability of the partners to advance energy and environment technologies through the application of high performance computing and communications (HPCC).

Location

NETL has campuses in Morgantown, WV and Pittsburgh, PA. For directions, see the NETL web site.

The main campus of West Virginia University is in Morgantown, WV. Detailed directions to the WVU Visitors Center in Morgantown are available from the WVU web site.

Carnegie Mellon University is located in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh, PA. Directions to campus are provided on the CMU web site.

Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center is also located in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. Maps and driving directions are provided on the PSC web site.
