(SC)² was pleased to join other regional organizations in West Virginia's annual Teaming to Win conference. Sponsored by Congressman Allan B. Mollohan, the event provides a forum for organizations in West Virginia, both large and small, to get to know one another's capabilities and to discover opportunities to pursue mutually beneficial projects. This year's event was held at the Stonewall Resort in Walkersville, WV, on June 1 and 2.

The (SC)² booth was ready to go when the exhibit floor opened. Laura McGinnis of PSC prepares to greet visitors to the (SC)² booth, right.

The (SC)² display was a team effort involving several (SC)² partners, including NETL, WVU, PSC, ISR, NASA IV&V, Waynesburg College and others. The booth featured two logical halves. To spark ideas about what kinds of things are possible, one half of the booth showed displays of (SC)² projects which have benefited West Virginia, including: the (SC)² grid; the high performance fiber optic network which reaches Morgantown and Fairmont; the annual outreach program to high school and middle school teachers; and more.

The second half of our display featured NETL's visualization and analytical capabilities. Below, Brian Dotson and Steve Zitney of NETL prepare their 3-D visualization display.

The technology featured in our booth included an emphasis on biomedical capabilities. Hugh Nicholas, right, of PSC, who has previously given lectures in support of the (SC)² mission, brought his expertise to the conference.

Of course, not everyone lingered a long time at every display.
